Solomon Islands

The Solomon Islands is a Pacific archipelago of over 900 islands east of Papua New Guinea, covering roughly 28,800 km² of oceanic terrain.


Its capital, Honiara, is situated on Guadalcanal, one of the larger and historically significant islands. The nation’s economy relies on subsistence farming, fishing, and modest export sectors such as timber, cocoa, and copra.
