San Marino

San Marino is a small but historic country in Europe, known for being the world's oldest surviving state. It is surrounded by Italy and is famous for its medieval architecture.

The principality is home to the Basilica of Our Lady of Gonfalona and the iconic Mount San Marino. San Marino's fights for autonomy and sovereignty define much of its national identity.
